Do you want to learn about Bush Tucker around wetlands, or for your garden? Join this Walk and Talk!
Join us for a Walk and Talk with Wiradjuri man Adam Shipp as he describes bush tucker foods and how the uses of other native plants.
We'll walk down to where an existing billabong has been reconnected to the wetlands, looking at plants along the way, and learning about what might be good to plant there. Then we'll make our way back to the City Farm plots to see what this amazing group are growing, ID their bush tucker seedlings, and talk about growing our edible natives.
Afterwards Adam will share some native teas with us, and there will be light catering kindly provided by the Jerrabomberra Parks Ranger, giving us some time to ask questions and meet each other.
We'll meet at the Jerrabomberra offices on Dairy Farm Road, Fyshwick, and begin at 10:30am. This is an outdoor event, so please bring a hat, sturdy shoes and weather-appropriate attire.
There are limited spots, so please register through Eventbrite if you would like to attend.
